Have Your Questions About Dental Assistance
Programs Answered!
Q. How do I know which school I should
attend to become a dental assistant?
A. Easy – just look for three things:
First, do they offer training and hands-on experience from a
Washington
State licensed dentist and other dental professionals?
Second, is the training course ten weeks – NOT ten months
– so you can
get into the job market sooner?
And third, what does it cost for the course and how far in debt
will you
be when you are finished?
Q. How large will the class size be? Will
I get individual attention?
A. The class sizes will be limited to no more than 24 students
for any 10 week course. This will ensure that you have the hands
on experience and training you will need for today’s job
market.
Q. Will I be able to keep my current job
while maintaining my class schedule?
A. Classes are held on Saturdays, 4 or more hours of clinical
training will be scheduled for selected days during the week.
Our schedule is designed to allow students to join classes with
minimal interruption to their current job.
Q. Will I be able to find a job after
my dental assistant training?
A. After you graduate
and enter the job market you will discover:
• There is a healthy demand for trained dental assistants.
• You have been prepared by real experience, with real patients,
in a real full service dental practice.
• You can work anywhere in the state. Live where you want
to live.
Q. How much does this program cost? What
is included with the tuition?
A. Tuition for our dental assistant course is $3,500. Competing
dental assistant programs can charge you as much as $14,000 for
a course with no hands on experience.
Also, included in the price of tuition are all supplies, equipment
usage, laboratory usage and student activities. Books cost an
additional $35.00 and there is a $35.00 non refundable application
processing fee.
