Don’t be fooled into thinking that you need to spend tens of thousands of dollars to become a fully trained and employable dental assistant.

You can enroll in a dental assistant program with the Rainier Institute of Technology for only $3,500. Dental assistant programs offered by competing schools may cost $14,000 or more!

Financial assistance programs are available for students who need them. Contact us by calling 1-253-278-4638 for more information.

4. Hands-On Experience

Learn how to become a dental assistant by learning, then doing. Over your 10 week course will consist of at least 144 hours of training. Only 36 of those hours will be lecture. During the remaining 108 hours you will be gaining skill through laboratory time and actual clinic experience with real patients in a real dental practice.

Your specialized training with real live clinical experience will give you the edge you need to find a dental assistant position after your graduation.

5. Small Class Size

If you are worried that you will be stuffed in a lecture hall with 60 other students for several months, worry no longer!

Each 10 week term will have no more than 24 students. You will have the one-on-one training you need to master the skills of a dental assistant. Having the guidance and supervision of your instructors will give you the confidence to learn the tasks at hand.

6. Great Market After Graduation

As long as the world needs dentists, the world will need dental assistants. Now more than ever, people are becoming aware of the importance of dental hygiene and appearance. This has caused a high demand in the field of dentistry.

Your chances of finding a job after graduation are only improved by the fact that you have had real internship experience in an actual dental practice, handling real patients.
